Google Your Music More Easily

A few weeks ago I posted about googling music using this code to search:

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:"index of" +"last modified" +"parent directory" +description +size +(wma|mp3) "Nirvana"

Well, I just found a site which uses the same method but simplifies it for you. The site is at www.findthatmp3.com, you can also search for videos, ebooks and files.

The reason you may consider using it is that if you are the type of person who gets paranoid about being sued for copyright infringement, this is by far the safest way to download music. Check it out.

Google your music

If you don't have any peer-to-peer programs/can't find what you're looking for, then you might aswell try this shizzlenitch:

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:"index of" +"last modified" +"parent directory" +description +size +(wma|mp3) "Nirvana"

Paste that code into google. Just substitute the term "Nirvana" for any band or singer you might be looking for, and your search will lead you to open indexes that contain downloadable music files.

Perhaps not the most flagrantly stylish means of getting your music, but it definitely works. Remember, once you find your song, right click on it and click 'Save Target As', not that you needed to be told.
