Flight of the Conchords

I've been meaning to make a post about Flight of the Conchords for ages. They are 2 music playing comedians from New Zealand. Last year they were given their own show on U.S. TV which I watched while we were in Canada. After the first few episodes it went a bit downhill but there were some really funny songs in the first few episodes, check them out:

Pikeys in Nikes

Tonight I was checking out some of the culture of our most beloved "ethnic minority"... Traveller bare-knuckle boxing! In this video theres 10,000 pounds of (stolen!) prize money for the winner. It's not quite Kimbo Slice territory, but its still pretty entertaining.

The real reason I'm posting though is to show you guys this funny prank call. It seems to be some guy from a place called Balla (?) phoning "The King of the Pikeys", probably some bare-knuckle boxer. I don't really understand whats going on but anyway, enjoy it.


*EDIT* I know it would be weird, but is that prank caller Ciaran Murphy from Off The Ball on Newstalk 106. Anyone know that guy?

Calamity James

The only thing missing from the following video is some David "Calamity" James goalkeeping. Its hilarious footballing clips, and one of my favourite ever songs.
