what is flagrance?

Fla´gran`cy . The condition or quality of being flagrant; atrocity; heinousness; enormity; excess.

Flagrance is good! Once upon a time Barra and David decided that if we were to create our own fragrance, we would call it 'Flagrance'. The idea being that it would be flagrantly expensive and flagrantly nice smelling. Well, we don't know how to develop, manufacture, and market a fragrance, so we have made a blog instead. Deal with it!

Interesting Theory

While reading an article forcasting a further fall in the value of the U.S. Dollar in 2007, I stumbled across the following theory regarding the invasion of Iraq, and possible future invasion of Iran:

Chapman's Dec. 30 newsletter documented that the international move away from the dollar has already begun:...

....Iran's switch to euros is the greatest threat yet to dollar supremacy. The usage of the euro is now universal in Iran and it will spread to other Islamic oil-producing countries as well. The share of dollars as a percentage of OPEC foreign reserves has fallen from 67 percent to 65 percent in the first half of 2007.

Iran's decision to hold only Euros may prompt a U.S. decision to launch a pre-emptive attack, Chapman speculated, with the public argument being Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons in defiance of the U.N. Security Council.

"Saddam Hussein signed his death warrant," Chapman argued, "when he got the U.N. to agree that he could hold his oil-for-food reserves in euros. Ahmadinejad appears determined to go down the same path."

Is this a further example of international flagranomics at play? Indubitably!

it's the same with dollers vs euros with regards to drug dealing. especially in places such as afghanistan and columbia. even though it is the black market it is a multi billion dollar industry. using dolllars as the standard currency means that it is also fuelling the american economy somewhat to a certain extent. however dollars only go up to a maximum of 100 in notes, with such large transactions taking place 1 million dollars would be the equivilant of a few large suitcases. with the introduction of the euro and the far larger notes drug dealers are adopting it as their new currency as it is far easier to transport and also the exchange rate is very competitive. this is seen as a major blow for the american economy
